Gunnar Nelson is currently a MS student studying Computer Science In Virginia Tech’s College of Engineering. While an undergraduate, he was published 3x in the Journal or Surgical Endoscopy, focusing on surgical education and machine learning applications for robotic surgery. He is interested Human Robot Interaction for medical, military, and civilian applications, along with community outreach for Title 1 schools.
